The question is: “Am I less Religious?”
Answer by Prateek, TN USA
Being religious does not necessarily mean adhering strictly to a specific set of rituals or practices associated with a particular faith. Instead, it seems that being religious involves demonstrating righteousness and honesty in all aspects of life – social, professional, personal, as well as spiritual.
Taking Baba’s life stories as an example, helping everyone without regard for their religion, caste, creed, or status suggests a focus on compassion and service to others rather than adherence to religious practices. Therefore, if you are someone who prioritizes these qualities in your life, it does not mean that you are less religious; instead, you may be demonstrating the essence of spiritual growth as described by the wise.
However, it is essential to note that each person’s path towards spiritual growth and understanding of religion can vary significantly. If you have any questions or concerns about your personal beliefs or practices, it would be beneficial to discuss them with a trusted religious leader, mentor, or counselor who can provide guidance tailored to your unique situation.
